Wie is Mrs C?
Mrs C verscheen in 2023 als een herinterpretatie en remake van Mrs E, een figuur die tijdens de corona periode rond 2021 haar eerste vorm kreeg op een 3D afbeelding . Waar Mrs E nog duidelijk het stempel droeg van een tijd van isolatie en verstilling, staat Mrs C voor beweging, vrijheid en herwonnen levenslust. Ze is geen stilstaand portret, maar een persoon in voortdurende actie.
Mrs C is een slanke, atletisch gebouwde, gescheiden vrouw van in de vijftig. Haar blonde, krullende haar omlijst een gezicht dat zowel kracht als zachtheid uitstraalt. Sport speelt een centrale rol in haar leven. Drie keer per week loopt ze met vaste discipline tien kilometer hard, niet om te bewijzen, maar om te voelen dat ze leeft. Daarnaast houdt ze van wielrennen en zoekt ze in de winter de bergen op om te skiën. Three times a week, she runs ten kilometres with steady discipline, not to prove anything, but to feel alive. She also enjoys cycling and, in winter, heads for the mountains to ski. Long walks along the beach offer her moments of calm and reflection, where her thoughts drift with the rhythm of the sea.
